Product of Korea

Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen or buldak-bokkeum-myeon (Korean: 불닭볶음면), commonly known as the fire noodles, is a brand of ramyeon produced by Samyang Food in South Korea since April 2012. In the case of cup ramyeon, the large size was first produced in June 2012 and the small size in November 2013. Buldak-bokkeum-myeon is known for being one of the spiciest ramyeon available in the Korean market. Its literal translation means: stir-fried chicken noodles. It does not have a soup satchet, unlike most ramyeons. It only has a sauce satchet, like a stir-fry. Its flakes are made up of dried laver and sesame seeds.

Customer Reviews:

Brittany Sunny: On the first few bites, I didn’t think these were going to be “that” hot. After about 5 minutes of eating them, my stomach turned into the fiery pits of hell. My nostrils cleared, my lips were burning and even milk didn’t get rid of the burn. I’m now sitting in a ball waiting on these delicious little devils to leave my body in the most vicious way possible. Jesus take the wheel.

Carl Payne: I purchased this specific brand of ramen because I have seen it used in numerous "Fire Noodle Challenges" and wanted to see just how spicy they really are. While they certainly have a "kick," I found the spiciness to be at a moderate level--moderate when compared to the reactions of some of the challengers on YouTube who tried the noodles.
